Let Us Go Over to the Other Side

Jehovah Shamah

The Word has been spoken, the pace has been set, the destination I have secured
It does not matter what happens around you, I have given you an open door
I have seen the other side, and recorded it in My plan

You are destined to reach new levels, regardless of circumstance.

What is required now is for you to KNOW, the power of the God you serve

Understand that when I speak, ways are made, things bend and curve

For when My plan is put in place and you truly and fully believe

I will take you to levels unknown, though your mind may not always conceive.

So I have said, “we are going over” no matter what storms arise

Rain, Water, Tempest, Hail, will not stop you from gaining the prize

The power inherent in My Word will CREATE the necessary change

To bring to pass that which I have said, although to some it will seem strange.

But you, My child, whom I have chosen to go on this journey at sea

You must come to fully understand the length and breadth of me

For it is the ones that KNOW their God who will experience exploits and fame

For they follow My instructions as they are given and trust not in their own name.

As Joshua crossing Jordan with the ark of God in the lead

The waters divided to let them cross, following the Word, they did succeed

Moses led a people through a dry place that for others turned into a wet grave

He rested in the name of the Lord, the only one with power to save.

When I speak, fear not, stand in faith, don’t waver, be brave

Step bold, face the circumstance, dare to stare down the waves

Expect the phenomenal to come alive when you travel the seas with me

Stay focused on the vision of the other side; don’t imagine your own Plan B.

Where is your mantle, where is the ark, where is your faith in God?

Gird up your loins, hold your head high, go where your elders have trod

Have I not already done this before for others just like you?

Launch forth now with courage bold, for the Word I have spoken is true.

So, “let us go over to the other side”, are you with me, oh child of Mine?

Great things await, there is so much in store, untold victories you will find

Though the waters will ebb and flow, and cloudy the skies may be

I have said “We are going over” and yes, I am with you eternally.

On Eagles Wings

Lord, when I am tempted to stay below in a lowly place

When operating in my comfort zone, becomes my usually pace

Come swiftly to my place of rest and unperturbed repose

Shake me loose, wake me up, my unused wings expose

Though I may not always understand or see the things you see

Deep inside I hear your voice saying, “I have need of thee”

My spirit quickens, I hear a sound, beyond the voice of man

And reason doesn’t correlate for it doesn’t understand

What I feel, what I hear, is a call to a higher ground

Above self interest and wavering, I must follow that sweet sound

Lord, when I falter in making transition, PUSH me from my nest

I understand your will for me, to enter into Your rest

Rest in you is not down below it is a place on high

Lord, help me find my growing wings and mount up to the sky

High above where I can see and understand YOUR vision

And comprehend with the saints on high your truly global mission

For your desire is for each of us is to rise up to our position

Without reluctance, without fear, with purpose and dedication

Like an eagle moves through the air with calculated precision

Help us go from glory to glory, fulfilling your great commission

Let us ride the high places of the earth, eating the increase of the field

Increasing in strength and passion while we care for those in need

We were born to be great, a price was paid to launch us FAR above

Yet though we fly swiftly as an eagle we will be harmless as a dove

Our aim, our goal is to take right action, with speed and accuracy

Knowing your thoughts at every moment, like a sure word of prophecy

Let us desire to look into your truth with the sharpness of an eagle’s eye

For when the TRUTH takes hold of our spirit, then higher we will fly

Flying to a place far beyond the disruption of temporary storms

Gaining strength, being renewed, by a refreshing from the Lord

Our strength won’t fail, our faith won’t waver as we rest in your embrace

And we will never ever confuse resting with the idleness

For while resting we will ascend on the wings of worship and praise

Singing, “Holy, Holy to God Most High”, Your anthem forever we’ll raise.

Sweet Lilly of the Valley

Blooming with luster in the midst of hard places,

Flourishing wherever you are divinely planted,

Filling your valley with loveliness and grace,

Simply elegant and alluring to the eyes.

Captivating from afar as you stand tall,

Defying the odds one by one,

Resilient and enduring like a pearl precious,

Your sweet perfume exudes God’s favor.

Receive the dew from the heavenly host,

Model the one who gave you life,

Bloom like a spring garden on a mountaintop,

It’s in the valley where you meet him

 Whom your soul loveth.

Give us this Day (Wedding Day)

Today we exchange the gift of God's Everlasting love,

Today we share as only two hearts entwined can share,

Today there is a smile, for perfect love casteth out all fear,

Today begins togetherness for the twain becomes one.

I am free, because I am bound to honor you,

I am strong because I am weak to your care,

I am a winner because I lost my heart to you,

I can finally let go, because I am holding your hand.

Together, we can soar to great heights,

Together we shall seize the day,

Together we will create a strong bond,

Together we will surmount all odds.

This day...

I commit to you myself and all I hold,

I commend to you the love of Christ,

created in me at my beginning

I concede that I do need your strength,

I concur that two are truly better than one.

Only you and God

In the inky blackness of the midnight hour

In the stark light of cold reality

You come to realize that in truth and in fact

There is a space where only resides

Only you and your God.

A place where friends may try to touch

And loved ones try to convince you they truly care

But in a thorough ‘search and discover’ mission

When the facts are laid bare for the discerning eye to see

It is only you and God in this place.

In the very core of you

The very heart of you

From which springs the essence of you

In this place never seen by the light of day

There is only you and your God.

If you are uncomfortable with your God

In moments of anguish it shows

If you are not at peace with your God

In moments of pain, restlessness grows

For there is a place where there is no one else but you and your God.

In this place called ‘God and I’

You are naked, open, and vulnerable

Words cannot do justice

To the complexity of things you feel

No one can TRULY relate to what you experience in this space.

God, I am here in our place

Whatever has come between us, I am sorry

I NEED you now, for words are inconsequential

To explain to any human

This place with only You and I.

The place where you deal with my pain

Without asking me questions

Where you right my wrongs

And set my boat sailing after it has stalled in clammy waters

In our secret place called God and I.

I want to be so into You and You in so into me

Like Jesus said “I am in the Father and the Father in me”

That pain and sorrow dissipate

Issues die a swift death

In this place for one called “GOD and I”

Where I need people less

And trust you more,

Enough to let your perfect wisdom flow into me

Unhindered, uncontaminated, potent wisdom

In a ceaseless river of life called ‘God and I’.

My Lord and My God

Today I enter into your rest

And cease from my clingy and controlling ways

I enter into You, my shelter and my rock

For I truly only NEED you, in this place called ‘GOD and I’.
